Emerald Cove Kayak Tour

The entire experience was amazing. The ride from the hotel to Willow beach was filled with a lot of history and facts about Nevada and the towns we traveled through. Michelle was very knowledgeable about the local history, the wildlife in the area. This was the first time my girlfriend had kayaked. Michelle took the time to teach her basic paddle techniques to make her successful and enjoy the experience as well. The Colorado river is beautiful as well as the rock walls and formations that are surround you the entire trip. Emerald cave was stunning. The sun reflects off the clear water into the cave creating this beautiful green glow. I would definitely take another trip with the River Dogz again. It was a relaxing and beautiful journey.

I highly recommend this trip. It was a great experience with a great tour guide. He encouraged conversation for our group so we truly felt like a team. He was very knowledgeable with using the kayaks as well as history and the surroundings.He made sure no man was left behind, so this is great for someone who has never used a kayak before.

My experience yesterday was one for the books! I’ve kayaked before in smaller areas, but never in a million years did I imagine I’d be kayaking on the Colorado River especially for 4 miles!This was a solo trip, and I definitely second guessed booking it at first. I’m so glad I did. Haley was an amazing instructor, and if I book another trip, I’ll definitely be requesting her.Everyone in my group was so genuine and welcoming. They made me feel like part of the family from the moment we met. We all came from different places and had our own journeys, but we shared an unforgettable experience together.Thank you all for making this adventure so much fun. River Dogz crew were excellent. When we arrived at Willow Beach, all kayaks were at waterfront ready for us. Complimentary cold water bottles were passed out, with encouragement to drink before you get thirsty. Julia our guide was excellent. As a fellow "rock nerd" herself, she gave great history of area and bit on Hoover Dam too. Excellent professional outfit!

It was such a great activity, our guide was very kind and knowledgeable. The views were breathtaking. Would love to come back and would definitely choose River Dogz again.
