Self-Guided Kayak Rentals

Our kayaking trip with our guide Michelle was amazing!!! Such a great half day away from the city to see beautiful scenery. Michelle is so knowledgeable and taught us so much about history of different areas, even during the shuttle drive from Vegas to the marina. We learned so much about the ecosystem of the river and canyons too. She also took amazing photos and shared them with the group after the tour. Such an amazing experience for beginners or experienced kayakers.

This was my first time kayaking and what an experience! 🚣‍♀️ We paddled 4 miles from Willow Beach, Arizona, along the beautiful Colorado River to Emerald Cave. The views were unreal, the water was so peaceful, and our tour guides Michelle and Griffin made the trip even more memorable with their knowledge, patience, jokes, encouragement, and making sure everyone stayed hydrated and had snacks. This is definitely an adventure I'd do again!

We had an incredible experience with Lisa as our tour guide today! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire trip enjoyable from start to finish.What really stood out was her quick response when an older gentleman flipped out of his kayak. Lisa immediately jumped into action, stayed calm, helped him safely back into his kayak, and made sure he was okay before continuing the tour. Her professionalism, compassion, and ability to handle an unexpected situation were truly impressive.If you’re looking for a guide who genuinely cares about her guests and goes above and beyond, I highly recommend Lisa. Wonderful trip! It was well organized and our tour guide, Julia, was amazing and provided incredible background and historical information on the Hoover Dam, the Colorado River and even information on the many plants and animals that live in the area. We even had time for a short hike and some swimming. Loved it!

My Emerald Cove kayaking experience with River Dogz was amazing! Our guide and driver, Michelle, gave us a great tour on the drive down from Vegas, explaining the history of each location we passed. She is extremely knowledgeable of the river and had the foresight to move our tour time up a few hours earlier ahead of the forecasted strong winds, ensuring we had a smooth paddling experience. She taught us the proper way to paddle and turn and made sure the group stayed together while again giving us the history of the part of the canyon we were in during the kayak tour. She took so many pictures of the group and shared them with us via a Google Drive after the tour.On the paddle back from Emerald Cove, we stopped at a small beach and enjoyed snacks and drinks provided by River Dogz, and then took a little walk up the hill to see a historical site left behind by someone who helped plan the building of the Hoover Dam.I cannot recommend River Dogz enough. 10/10 experience and a great way to take a break from the overstimulation that is Las Vegas and connect with nature + the history of Nevada/Arizona!
