Absolutely wonderful experience. Our kayaking guide, Preston, was outstanding. Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. His partner, Ryan, was also lovely. They greeted us upon our arrival and helped my family get settled. The Black Canyon was stunning to say the least. Gorgeous rock formations, both from the river itself and from the top of our short hike. The Colorado river was clear. There were so many areas where the light shimmered green off the river grass. We saw some water fowl, including a heron. We didn’t see any bighorn sheep while on the water but did see a family of sheep alongside the road as we were driving back up the hill from the beach . The water was very calm. My young adolescent is inexperienced with kayaking and handled the 4 miles independently very well. The Emerald Cave itself was nice but nothing out of this world. Preston did a good job of tampering expectations ahead of time, calling it the “icing on the cake.” For me, it was about the journey to the cave and back, not the cave itself, that was unbelievable. Overall, I can’t recommend both this experience and River Dogz enough. I’d love to do it again with them sometime

On a trip to Vegas I knew I’d want to get out of the city and do something in nature. The photos I saw of Emerald cave and the fact I could be picked up on the strip and taken to this amazing adventure had me sold. Michelle was great from beginning to end. I learned so much about the areas we passed through on our way out to the launch point. Michele was so knowledgeable and the history of Boulder, NV was so interesting! The kayak tour itself was perfect! Michelle had plenty of water and great snacks for us. She continued to share her knowledge of the area and the history of the building of the Hoover dam. Then, we got to Emerald Cave! It was gorgeous! I did quite a bit on my short trip to Vegas, but the highlight was easily this kayak tour! Book it now, you won’t regret it!

Breathtaking views and SHEEP. Was an amazing experience. First time kayaking and our guide Michelle was so helpful in guiding us through how to kayak and was so friendly and fun. The views along the kayaking path was breathtaking and so was the cave. Michelle was one of the best guides I've had, telling us about all the history behind the entire path we were on, pointing out unique animals and sites to look out for, and even stopping by a park on the way back so that we could look at the sheeps that we were so excited to see. Overall an amazing experience and would definitely go again. 100% worth it.
