Our excursion begins with a guided paddle around the Lake Mead / Boulder Islands where you have an unparalleled view of the Ancient Paint Pots. From the Boulder Islands we take a break to stretch, and you may enjoy a refreshing dip in the lake, enjoying the beauty of Lake Mead.

Traveled with my two teenage sons and this was honestly the highlight of my trip. It was better than the Grand Canyon bc it was so relaxing, fun, very organized and good use of our time - mainly due to our guide Michelle. MIchelle took pictures of us, was so knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. Water was spectacular and a great escape from the chaos of the Vegas strip. We were given plenty of water and snacks.

Ryan our guide was awesome. Easy going and funny. Also confident and resourceful on the water and land.He made it a fantastic experience for first timers. Made time for everyone. Oh and the trip itself was amazing. Water was calm, sunshine but not to hot, minimal wind. Going up and down the river with the canyon walls above was amazing. We saw an Eagle and some rams up high. So beautiful a place in the desolate desertI highly recommend River dogs and Willow beach adventure.
