Hubby and I had Michelle as our guide, for the 4 hr trip, and she was great. Loved her sense of humor and she shared history and current facts of the area to and from. Made sure we even got to sneak a peek at the hoover dam (not a stop just drive by) on the way back. 4 people flipped over (one not of our group) during our trip. She was patient and assisted each one, while calmly directing the rest of the group to hang tight off the canyon wall. She is very much a 'mom' of the group, making sure we ate snacks she provided and assured us she is loaded with water and to stay hydrated (not our group, but two women went out with one bottle between them, resulted in one experiencing heat exhaustion so water is life do not skimp out on it). The marina has a nice store , reasonably priced, flush toilet bathrooms. Kayaks are sit in no cover for your legs so learn from our mistake and lather up legs with sunscreen or cover them. We wore long sleeve swim tops which I highly recommend to save your arms. Swimming is great to cool off from the desert sun but prepare for COLD water. Dunk your life vest before kayaking. Michelle has tons of other tricks to help you stay cool and teaches everyone how to paddle properly and ensures the kayaks are adjusted to each person's height. Wonderful experience highly recommend.

Michelle was a great tour guide! She kept us updated on pickup locations & time. She shared good info & facts of the Hoover Dam and its history around the area.Kayaking was fun! just the right amount of time and distance, (4 miles) my 16 year old son an I enjoyed a great time. Emerald cave is a great experience. Thank you Michelle and River Dogs!- pack a small back , sunglasses, sunscreen hat ect. Change of clothes if needed. Water proof bag even.I would highly recommend this company and Michelle.Great times!

We were in Vegas for a family reunion and took a group of 10 for the emerald cave half day excursion. Our guide, Luke, was absolutely fantastic! He not only led the group at a good pace, but also was extremely informative about the wildlife and plant life along the trip. I highly recommend this trip for anyone looking to get out in the sun, Enjoy some cold river, water, and make lasting memories.

Absolutely incredible tour, Luke is an amazing tour guide, he was full of fun facts about the nature in the area as well as the history behind the hover damn and the significance it had on our country. He also took pictures for the group free of charge. Just an incredible experience overall!

Jared was our guide and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was great morning excursion. So beautiful. Recommend it for everybody.
