I can’t say enough about how much I LOVED my River Dogz experience! Shout out to Michelle who provided fun, laughter, history, training, and all around great vibes! This was a memorable experience that I will hold close to my heart. I’ll definitely be back to do this experience again!

First off, Julia our guide was absolutely amazing. She was so helpful and patient with me as it was my first time kayaking. I will say it's a slightly ambitious first time trip and it depends on the person but I'm living proof it is doable. Hindsight, for myself, I wish I'd had done some shorter trips or something before this trip. The views are amazing and beautiful. It's a great way to experience the beauty of the desert and something and to get off and away from the strip. I highly recommend River Dogs and Colorado River Emerald cave experience. It might just be a must do for us when we come out to Vegas.

Preston was our guide and he was entertaining, helpful, knowledgeable and patient. You can tell that he really enjoys what he does. I highly recommend this adventure for anyone who enjoys water sports and wants to experience the gorgeous Colorado River.

I loved this excursion! The folks at RiverDogz are so helpful. I took the shuttle and it was so convenient. Our guide Julia was so knowledgeable about the natural history and human history of the area. The scenery is amazing. It's nice to get out of Vegas and see something of the real Southwest. I did find the four mile trip a little challenging; the last two miles were heading upstream and into the wind. So be prepared to paddle!

Do it! I had a great time on this kayaking excursion. It was great to get out of Vegas and actually see some of the countryside. Our guide Julia was so knowledgeable about the history of the area and the environment. The drive is long but interesting. The kayaking trip itself can be a little challenging since the last two miles are headed upstream and we had wind pushing us back. Of course, I was a good bit older than most of the people on the trip and not in nearly as good shape so don't let me discourage you. So worth it!
